The surgery has links to the local Community Mental Health Team and a brief assessment or triage service is provided at both the Sturminster and Marnhull surgeries each week. The triage session lasts for up to 45 minutes and can help identify acute and enduring problems and identify an initial formulation to hopefully alleviate any problems.
A number of evidence-based interventions can be recommended and discussed.
