As a team we offer support for families in the practice area, this is provided in child’s homes, in the surgery and in local groups.
Child development checks are carried out at between six and eight weeks with the Health visitor and GP.
Eight month, two year and three year checks, are carried out by the Health Visitor only.
All new babies are seen from ten days of age.
The Health Visiting Team work closely with the Surestart service to provide groups for young parents, breastfeeding mothers and baby groups.

These are carried out in the surgery by appointment.
